Elon Musk, the world's richest man, and Facebook founder Mark Zuckerberg are talking about a "Cage Match" in Las Vegas. It all started when Meta Platforms Inc., formerly known as Facebook, announced its plans to launch a competing service to Musk's social media platform, Twitter.
Taking to Twitter, which Musk now owns, he raised the idea of a Las Vegas UFC Octagon as a venue for a potential showdown between the two billionaires. In response, Zuckerberg posted a screenshot of Musk's tweet on his Instagram account with a caption that read, "Send Me Location."
Musk did not back down, and he even joked about his combat technique, which he calls "The Walrus" – a maneuver involving lying on people. He also described his workout as throwing his children in the air.
However, Zuckerberg is no slouch himself when it comes to fitness. The Facebook founder recently shared details of his fitness regime which included participating in a jiu-jitsu tournament and completing the "Murph challenge." This challenge involves wearing a 20-pound weighted vest and running a mile, doing 100 pull-ups, 200 push-ups, 300 squats, and then running another mile – all within 40 minutes.
While it remains to be seen whether or not this Cage Match will take place, it's certainly brought the two tech giants into the spotlight. Neither Meta Platforms nor Twitter have provided any further comment on the matter.
