In February, Fernandes announced on Twitter that he would send a shirt to the fan if he continued messaging him for 300 days, as the supporter had requested the number 300 for his signed jersey. However, a month and a half later, the Portuguese player went above and beyond by presenting the fan with the shirt during a video call.
In a video posted on social media, Fernandes expressed his gratitude to the fan for his continued support and even invited him to a game at Old Trafford. The supporter was ecstatic and grateful for the gesture.
Manchester United, currently in third place in the Premier League with 50 points, will face fifth-placed Newcastle United on Sunday.
