The news of this secret child came to light when Musk responded to a post on social media, where the couple's three children were listed as X Æ A-Xii, Exa Dark Sideræl Musk, and Techno Mechanicus. It seems that this third child's existence had been kept under wraps until now.

It's worth mentioning that Musk and Grimes ended their romantic relationship in September 2021. However, the Canadian singer, whose real name is Claire Boucher, has described their relationship status as "very fluid."

In an interview with Vanity Fair in March 2022, Grimes revealed that Exa Dark Sideræl Musk was born via surrogate in December 2021. The couple had not initially planned on announcing the birth of their second child, nicknamed "Y," but the news was shared when a journalist overheard a baby crying during the interview.

Musk and Grimes previously welcomed their first child, X Æ A-Xii, in May 2020. Musk, who is 48 years old, also has five other children from a previous marriage – twins Griffin and Vivian, and triplets Damian, Saxon, and Kai.

In addition to his children with Grimes, it was revealed in September 2021 that Musk has 16-month-old twins named Strider and Azure with Shivon Zilis, an executive at Neuralink, a company he owns. Neuralink aims to develop an implantable computer chip for the human brain.

It's interesting to note that Musk has previously expressed concerns over declining birth rates, stating that the birth rate in the US has been below sustainable levels for nearly 50 years. He believes the declining birth rate to be the biggest threat to civilization and has even mentioned doing his best to address the underpopulation crisis.

Elon Musk and Grimes continue to captivate the public not only with their professional accomplishments but also with their unconventional choices, naming their children in a manner that truly sets them apart.
