Erling Haaland has broken yet another record by scoring in Manchester City's 3-0 victory over Bayern Munich in the first leg of the Champions League quarterfinals. Haaland's volley made him the Premier League player with the most goals in a single season, with a total of 45 in all competitions.
However, his teammate Rodri's stunning left-footed strike from distance for the opener stole the spotlight. City's commanding win puts them in a strong position to win their first-ever Champions League title, but Pep Guardiola remains cautious. Inter Milan also won their quarterfinal first leg against Benfica 2-0.
