Late replacement Boris Crighton put up a tough fight, but Lyndon Arthur still managed to secure a unanimous victory in their light-heavyweight bout. Arthur, who is still trying to rebuild after a crushing defeat to Anthony Yarde in December 2021, had originally been scheduled to fight Braian Suarez for the IBO title, but Suarez failed his pre-fight medical and Crighton was drafted in just 30 hours before the fight.
Crighton, who had previously sparred with Arthur, put up a good fight, but Arthur began to find his groove and started to connect with his trademark jab and right hand. In the 10th round, Arthur dropped Crighton and won the fight via unanimous decision. Arthur is now expected to fight for the vacant IBO light-heavyweight title in May.
