In a significant move to strengthen diplomatic ties and promote tourism, China has announced the extension of its visa-waiver program to citizens of Australia, New Zealand, and Poland. Starting from July 1 and running through the end of 2025, travelers from these three nations will be able to enter China without a visa for up to 15 days for purposes such as business trips, tourism, and visits to relatives and friends, as confirmed by China's foreign ministry.

This initiative comes following recent high-level visits between Chinese officials and leaders from Australia, New Zealand, and Poland. Premier Li Qiang's visit to New Zealand and Australia focused on discussions related to trade and investment, while Poland's President Andrzej Duda met with China's President Xi Jinping in Beijing on Monday to discuss bilateral relations.

China expressed its willingness to collaborate with Poland and other countries to advance sustainable development and enhance international relations, as stated by the Chinese foreign ministry. This decision to expand the visa-waiver program signals a deepening of ties between China and these three countries, offering significant benefits for tourism, business, and people-to-people exchanges in the years to come.
