UFC fighter Tony Ferguson was taken into custody on Sunday morning in Hollywood, California, on suspicion of driving under the influence after his Chevrolet Silverado pickup truck hit at least two parked vehicles on Wilcox Avenue, according to the Los Angeles Times, citing police. The truck flipped onto its side after the collision, which occurred shortly before 2 a.m. local time.

Ferguson, a 39-year-old welterweight fighter with a record of 26-8-0, initially refused to take a breathalyzer test when he was arrested. Neither his representatives nor the UFC have commented on the incident.

Ferguson's court date is scheduled for June 1 in Los Angeles Municipal Court. He has lost his last five consecutive fights and his most recent bout was against Nate Diaz in UFC 279 in September.

Despite his recent losses, Ferguson is a former interim UFC lightweight champion and holds the record for the longest win streak in lightweight division history, with 12 wins tied with Khabib Nurmagomedov. The outcome of his legal case remains to be seen and could have implications for his future in the sport.
